Upper LH Tailboom Longeron

Originally published 6/5/2014 on Uh1OPS Maintenance blog We are currently working on an AOG in Colorado to repair this area. We have a field alignment plate and trained technicians that can support major structural repairs as well as most maintenance related incidents. Vector has been made aware of three similar incidents in the past 6 months. Vector STC SR00267SE installs an Upper LH Tailboom Longeron along with Push-Pull control and Tractor tailrotor(212 configuration). We recently obtained FAA DER approval to install these replacement parts as a FAA certified solution for this cracking issue.
