Oil Cooler Turbine
In an effort to keep fluid temps down, you might want to try this tip. With Huey II's having a larger oil cooler turbine, and to prevent the step doors from getting sucked in, a couple of screened doublers can be installed in the hollows of the oil cooler compartment door. This is especially useful if you happen to have the baggage compartment installed in your tailboom and/or non-screened access panels along the bottom of the t/b. Earlier "H" models didn't have this problem, they even had one of the lower t/b panels screened to allow air flow. With this installed only on the compartment door, there's no loss of airframe integrity. Hope this helps.
